Itinerary
Day 0-1
Arrival in Athens
Acropolis & Acropolis Museum
Wine Dinner
2 nights at the Titania Hotel
(or similar)
You will be met at the airport and transferred to the Titania Hotel (or similar). We’ll meet for an informal cocktail in the evening. If you have plans to arrive early, our driver will still meet you at the airport and take you to your destination in Athens.
We’ll spend one day in Athens and take a sight-seeing walking tour of the Acropolis, and visit the Acropolis Museum.
While in Athens, we’ll have a group dinner at By The Glass (or similar) with an amazing wine list to introduce you to Greek varietals. Look forward to an outstanding food and wine pairing!
Day 2-4
Nafplion,
Visit Mycenae, and Nemea

Nafplion is an absolutely charming Venetian city in the Peloponnese and a favorite weekend escape for Athenians. We’ll take a private bus west along the coastline to the Corinth Canal (45 minutes) for a short stop to take in the views. Then we will continue on (45 more minutes) to the archeological site of Mycenae, the legendary home of Agamemnon in the Iliad. Our drive ends in the picturesque town of Nafplion where we will check into the Amphitryon Hotel (or similar luxury accommodations). Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch at an amazing winery.
There are excellent wineries in Nemea: Palivos, Gaia, Skouras, Semeli and Mitravelis to name a few. Our tour will include 2 wine tours as well as guided tours of Ancient Mycenae and Ancient Nemea. Expect a group dinner at one of the better restaurants facing the water, and a free day to enjoy the water, explore Nafplion and relax.
Day 5-7
Nauplion to Athens – flight to Heraklion

Our private bus will take us back to the Athens airport for a flight to Heraklion (60 minutes). We will be transferred to our luxury boutique hotel on a central square, the Metropole Urban (or similar), and after freshening up will meet for a group dinner at a charming local restaurant with contemporary Cretan cuisine.
In Heraklion we will take a private bus with our guide to Knossos, just 5 kilometers from the city to see the ancient Minoan palace. After the tour we will visit another amazing winery for lunch and a tasting.
We won’t let you miss the incredible exhibits at the Archeological Museum. Tour at your own pace and we’ll follow that with a wine lunch as well!
Day 8-10
Heraklion – Akrotiri excavation -

We will take the ferry from Heraklion to Santorini! A private bus will take us to our destinations around the island and deliver us to our luxury hotel in Fira. Our tour will include a visit to Akrotiri, the most important excavation on the island. You’ll have time to explore the iconic towns of Oia and Fira at your own pace.
Santorini is one of the most famous Greek wine regions and tourist destinations. Our favorites include Santo, Karamolegos, Sigalas, Hatzidakis, and Gaia. Expect an amazing food and wine pairing!
You haven’t been to Greece if you haven’t been on the water. Bring your bathing suit. We have a private boat that will take us to swimming beaches and hot springs. Enjoy a grilled dinner with seafood and an open bar and watch the sunset from the water.
Day 11
Departure
Our tour ends in Santorini with transfers to either the port or airport for departure.
