BOOKING A TRIP

How to Sign Up: To reserve your trip anytime go to www.wildgoat.tours or email contact@wildgoat.tours.

Price: Prices are per person based on double occupancy (two people per room) and quoted in U.S. dollars. Prices are valid at time of publishing and are subject to change at any time. Prices may vary depending on trip date. When booking, please make sure you select the correct trip dates to see accurate pricing.

What’s Included: Trip prices include accommodations, most meals, designated airport transfer on arrival and departure, group ground and air transportation between tour destinations, tips and gratuities for drivers and guides. Additional local taxes and exchange rate fees may apply. Optional single occupancy and room upgrades incur a supplemental fee. Please see the online trip pages for more specifics on all items included in the trip price. Airfare and other forms of travel to/from the trip start/end or additional nights are NOT included and are your responsibility.

Supplemental Fees. Wild Goat Tours prices are based on double occupancy in standard rooms. Any requests for single occupancy or other upgrades (including any requests for private transportation) will be subject to availability and an additional charge.

Payment Terms:

Deposit: A deposit equal to 20% of the total listed trip price per person is due at the time of booking to hold your reservation.

Balance: The balance of your trip price is due as follows:

50% of the total listed price is due 130 days prior to the trip departure date.

The remaining balance (including any supplemental fees) is due in full no later than 70 days prior to the trip departure date.

Your place on the tour will not be confirmed until payment in full has been received.

Accepted Payment Methods: All payments are due in U.S. dollars by [credit card (Visa or Mastercard only),] check, ACH payment or Bank Transfer. We charge a transaction fee of 3%, with a discount for ACH or Bank Transfers. If you pay by credit card, we will automatically bill the credit card on file when any balance is due unless you instruct us otherwise. If any payment is not received when due, Wild Goat Tours reserves the right to cancel your reservation.

Booking after the Final Payment Due Date: If you book after the final payment due date Wild Goat Tours must request additional rooms from our hotels or transportation, you will be charged your trip deposit before you are confirmed on the trip. If we are unable to confirm your room(s) or transportation within 7 business days, you are eligible to receive a full deposit refund. If we are able to secure your room(s) and transportation on request, we will charge your remaining balance on the day following confirmation using the same payment method as your deposit. If you decide to cancel before or after the rooms/transportation have been confirmed, cancellation fees may apply.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:  Due to the nature of our tours, Wild Goat Tours makes advance payments to local hotels, airlines, and other service providers to secure reservations. Accordingly, all payments are non-refundable, except where expressly stated in these terms and conditions. This strict policy is necessary because we are subject to the refund policies of local operators, which often do not allow for refunds.

In the event that the trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other unforeseen events, we will make every effort to recover refunds from these service providers. However, we can only refund amounts that are successfully refunded to us by the service providers, less any non-recoverable costs and administrative fees. We appreciate your understanding and recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.

There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. Single-occupancy rooms and other upgrades are considered part of the total trip price and are subject to the same policy.

Wild Goat Tours is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled or postponed trips, such as airline tickets, or for costs that are incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations or illness.

Guest Transfer Policy.  You may request to transfer your booking to another individual, subject to the approval of the relevant local service providers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, and tour operators. Transfers are not guaranteed and are contingent upon the policies and availability of these service providers. A non-refundable administrative fee of $200 will be charged for each transfer request. This fee must be paid at the time the transfer request is submitted. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to Wild Goat Tours at least 60 days before the scheduled tour date.

Future Trip Credit Policy. If you cancel your booking and would like to apply the amount paid towards a future trip, Wild Goat Tours is willing to accommodate this request, provided that your vacated spot is filled by another guest. The credit can be used for any future trip offered by Wild Goat Tours within 12 months from the original trip's start date. This policy is subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the new booking. Please note that you will be responsible for paying any price differences between the original and future trip.

[Traveling Solo: Wild Goat Tours prices are based on double occupancy. Each trip lists a “single supplement” fee to have a single room. If you're traveling solo and prefer to share a room, we'll do our best to find you a roommate of the same gender. If we're not able to pair you with a roommate, you will be responsible for the single occupancy charge. The earlier you book, the more likely we can find you a roommate.]

Travel Protection Plan: We strongly encourage you to obtain personal travel insurance to cover you in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as cancellation, medical emergencies or illness (including cost of repatriation), and lost or damaged luggage. For your convenience, we have provided links on our website to several insurance companies we have used in the past. We are not affiliated with, and do not endorse or vouch for, any of these providers. It is your responsibility to research and choose a provider that best meets your needs.

Mobility. Our tours involve a significant amount of walking, often on uneven ground, cobblestone streets, and inclines that may pose challenges to individuals with mobility issues. We strive to make our tours as accessible as possible, but due to the nature of the locations visited, some parts of the tour may not be suitable for those who require assistance or have difficulty walking. Guests with mobility concerns are strongly encouraged to assess their ability to participate fully in the tour activities and should consult with us before booking to discuss any specific needs or accommodations.

Covid-19 Policy. To ensure the health and safety of all our guests, Wild Goat Tours requires COVID-19 testing upon arrival. Any guest who tests positive for COVID-19 will be required to follow specific protocols to minimize the risk of transmission, including but not limited to isolating, wearing a mask, and traveling via separate transportation. These measures are essential to protect the well-being of all participants and local communities.

Please note that any costs associated with these additional safety measures, including separate transportation, accommodation for isolation, and medical expenses, will be the responsibility of the guest. We strongly recommend that guests review their travel insurance policies to ensure they have coverage for COVID-19 related expenses. Your cooperation and understanding in adhering to these guidelines are greatly appreciated.

Requirements for Travel. All guests are required to have a valid passport (with an expiration date at least 3 months after your intended departure date) to travel to Greece. At this time, U.S. passport holders are not required to have a visa or a visa waiver to enter Greece. If you hold a passport other than a U.S. passport, you should check applicable visa requirements. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that necessary travel documents are obtained and are up-to-date prior to the trip. Please check the expiration date on your passport and apply for any required visa or visa waiver well in advance of your departure. Failure to secure the necessary travel documents may result in denied entry to Greece, and Wild Goat Tours will not be liable for any disruptions or costs incurred as a result.

Local Tour Operator and Itinerary Changes. Our tours are organized in collaboration with a local tour operator in Greece, and as such, the itinerary and other tour details are subject to change based on their discretion. While we strive to adhere to the planned schedule, there may be adjustments due to local conditions, availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. Wild Goat Tours does not have control over these changes and cannot guarantee that the itinerary will remain exactly as advertised. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding should any modifications to the tour be necessary.

Age Restrictions. To book a spot on our tours, guests must be at least 18 years old. The minimum age to participate in any of the wine tastings is 16 years old. We can accommodate families with younger children upon request; however, parents or guardians are fully responsible for the supervision and safety of their children at all times during the tour. Please inform us in advance if you will be bringing younger children so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Data Privacy. We take the privacy and security of your personal information very seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policyfor detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data. While we implement stringent measures to safeguard your sensitive information, including passport numbers, please be aware that there is always some risk associated with providing personal data online. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

Trip Forms & Release of Liability. To reserve a spot on any of our tours, all guests must acknowledge and agree to our Release, Assumption of Risk, and Binding Arbitration Agreement, and to complete and sign a Personal Information Form The Release outlines important information regarding risks and responsibilities associated with the trip. Please review carefully and ensure your acknowledgment is submitted as part of the booking process. Your reservation will not be confirmed until we have received your completed forms. A separate completed Release must be received for each person traveling.
